When clinically appropriate, you may also receive patients or specimens at your NHS Trust, private hospital, or laboratory for in-person evaluation.

II. BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• GMC-registered Consultant Clinical Pathologist with a valid licence to practise and specialist certification in clinical pathology (including subspecialties such as clinical chemistry, haematology, microbiology, immunology, or molecular pathology where applicable).

• Proven experience in laboratory medicine, test interpretation, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary clinical consultation.

• Strong communication skills with clinicians, patients, and healthcare teams.

• Willingness to work online and maintain a professional digital profile.
