In practice, you can offer online services such as second professional opinions, medical record reviews, and lifestyle/pain coping guidance. When clinically appropriate, you may also receive patients at your NHS Trust, private hospital, or clinic for in-person evaluation and treatment.
II. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
GMC-registered Consultant in Pain Medicine with a valid licence to practise and specialist certification.
Proven experience in multidisciplinary chronic pain management, including interventional techniques, pharmacological optimisation, and non-pharmacological approaches.
Strong communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to work online and maintain a professional digital profile.
